sweet almond oil is also used for the carrier part of the herbal infused oil that will then be ADDED to ointments, lip balms, etc... because sweet almond oil isn't as oily as the olive oil, it works better for the infused oils that will become ingredients for creams, lotions, balms, & salves. who wants a greasy layer of oily crap on your skin? I mean really. lol

Do you know if it would be fine to substitute beeswax with Vaseline? And also, do you know if it would be fine to use teas as the herbs? (I only have herbal anyway...)
I really love your videos, especially since I want to be an herbalist one day C:

Hey Rick I got a question. This weekend my brother and I found an abandoned bee hive in a downed tree trunk. I took the wax from the hive and melted it down and filtered it then made it into bars. Can I use this for herbal treatments? I got about 8 ounces of the wax.

This is such a great video. Thank you. I have a couple of questions.
1-If I don't want to use an animal product for wax, what is the 'healthy' alternative?
2-Can something be added as a preservative? If so what?
3-Can the concentrated powder of an herb be used instead of the dry herb? If so, how would I work with that instead?
